Now that Samsung has begun the stable One UI 7 update rollout for more Galaxy devices and tablets, apart from the S24 series and Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units, the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup also joins the update party as the units have started receiving the latest Android 15-based update.
One UI 7.0 Update Now Available for Galaxy Tab S9 Series
More specifically, the current software for the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is now available for both the Wi-Fi and 5G variants, where the Wi-Fi units have been recognized with the X710XXUSCYD9, X810XXUSCYD9, and X910XXUSCYD9 build numbers, respectively.
At the same time, the 5G units came with the X716NKOUSCYD9, X816NKOUSCYD9, and X916NKOUSCYD9 version numbers, respectively. The update is, however, only available in South Korea.
Meanwhile, the latest One UI 7 stable update for Samsung’s 9th generation tablets brought about many major features and changes. According to the changelog, it integrates more improved Galaxy AI features like Gemini, summarizing calls and converting them into texts, writing assistance, Audio Eraser, app icon and widget style customizations, and Now Bar.
Not only these, the update further brings photo and video editing capabilities, easier and seamless connectivity and file sharing, swipe gestures to reveal the hidden taskbar, and more enhancements to boost users’ productivity. Also, the update integrates the April 2025 security patch to strengthen the device’s overall security and core functionality and to offer a more secure user experience.
