Samsung Drops Stable One UI 7.0 Update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5
Samsung is yet to roll out the stable One UI 7 update in certain regions such as the US for all the eligible Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 series; the company seems to be prioritizing its home country, South Korea, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 join the update saga now!
Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 Get Android 15 and One UI 7 update
Following some major flagships like the Galaxy S23 series, S24 FE, and Tab S10 and Tab S9 lineup, the stable One UI 7 update is now rolling out to Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 users in South Korea. It’s expected that more regions should follow in some time.
At the same time, the latest Android 15-based One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 is recognized by F946NKSU5EYD9 and F731NKSU5EYD9 build numbers, respectively.
Although the update size is significantly larger, over 4.8GB, the update tends to include several important improvements within plenty of the functionalities. This consists of more improved Galaxy AI, customizations for home icon and widget styles, improved camera, photo, and video editing features, and much more.
Additionally, the update further integrates the latest April 2025 security patch that eventually aims to strengthen the device’s overall security and core functionality in order to offer a more secure user experience.
