Samsung receives a substantial sum from Google to keep Gemini pre-installed on Galaxy devices

Samsung is reported to receive a substantial sum from Google as the cost price to keep the Gemini pre-installed on Galaxy devices.
Google is actively working on maintaining its leading legacy by remaining the default search engine on both Android and iOS. For this, it pays billions of dollars to Apple to remain the default search engine on Apple computers, smartphones, and tablets.
Now, according to a new report from Bloomberg, Google is looking forward to paying an enormous sum to Samsung for Gemini to be pre-installed on Galaxy devices. This information was revealed during the antitrust trial between Google and the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
However, it’s not a thing to surprise that Google is paying a massive price to Samsung, as a few years back, during the Epic Games vs Google Lawsuit, it was revealed that Google paid $8 billion over four years to pre-install the Google Search engine and Play Store on Galaxy devices to Samsung.
Google is now struggling to maintain its legacy and is in the middle of the remedies trial for its Search dominance. Unfortunately, it lost that trial to the DOJ last year, which could result in banning it from making deals such as the ones it did with Apple and Samsung, but it remains to be seen exactly what will happen next.
