Samsung is actively setting up to introduce next-generation foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is anticipated to be the thinnest foldable ever in the Galaxy family.
Samsung is looking forward to launching the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is supposed to be held in the first week of July 2025 in New York. The company is expected to power both devices with the Snapdragon 8 Elite and run the Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the official specifications of the upcoming foldable phones yet, meanwhile, a new report suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be the slimmest foldable phone in the Galaxy family yet.
A reliable tipster, Anthony, on X, shared a post revealing that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will measure 8.2mm in thickness, which goes against the previous 9.5mm leak. If this measurement comes true, then it will be thinner than the Oppo Find N5. The tipter also mentioned that the device is expected to cost €2,099; however, it’s not the official price rate, so it remains to be seen whether the leaked pricing will come true.
Since the office specifications of the coming foldable phones are yet to be revealed, there may be a few changes in the thickness measurement of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 from the leaked ones.
