Galaxy A Series Gets Gemini Access Shortcut, Just Like the S25 Lineup: Check Out the List

Samsung is hard at work when it comes to expanding its proprietary Galaxy AI suite across even more smartphones, tablets and foldables. While the Galaxy AI is available on flagship model lineups, Samsung unveiled an all new Awesome Intelligence specially for its Galaxy A Series devices. Meanwhile, A-series models can activate Gemini with the side button.
Introducing one of the most intuitive capabilities from the Galaxy S series to more devices and taking Samsung and Google partnership to a step further, through a press release, Samsung confirmed that some selected Galaxy A series devices will soon be able to activate Gemini AI assistant using the side button.
From now on, Samsung’s A series models will have the capability to launch their AI assistant Gemini by simply long pressing and holding the side button in order to make their everyday tasks easier and quick at the same time. However, there’s a small catch as well. The company further revealed that selective A series devices will only be able to do do when they have One UI 7 stable version running over.
Moreover, Galaxy A series devices are scheduled to get One UI 7 stable update somewhere in June 2025, users need to wait till Samsung rolls out the stable update as per scheduled.
Since Samsung has already replaced Bixby from Gemini as a default AI assistant on Galaxy S25 series and has also offered the capability to access Gemini using the side button, similar is now arriving on Galaxy A series for a more efficient AI experience.
