Galaxy S25 Spotted testing with Android 16/One UI 8: Optimization in Progress?

Samsung’s next major software, One UI 8, which is supposed to run Android 16 on top, has already showcased its first look to the Galaxy audience, hinting that Samsung has started developing the upcoming version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 was recently spotted on Geekbench with Android 16.
According to the information shared by the tipster Tarun Vats via X, it looks like Samsung has already started optimising One UI 8 for the Galaxy S25 models, as the base unit has just appeared on the Geekbench database running Android 16 with One UI 8.

Specifically, the Galaxy S25 achieved a 3194 score in single-core, while it gained a 10068 score in Multi-core on the Geekbench database, which looks quite impressive.
Well, the optimisation is in progress, it seems like Samsung’s current latest S series models, the Galaxy S25 family will be the first to look out for various stunning features that are supposed to make their way to One UI 8 alongside integrating Android 16’s goodness as well.
In case you missed it, previous reports have already provided a slight hint that One UI 8 might pack certain features that One UI 7 lacked. Looking up to the concept, Samsung could perform a few customisations within the Now Brief feature that could make it to the older Galaxy devices, Gallery optimisations, quick panel enhancements for more convenience, and lastly, a more improved Quick Share.
