One UI 8.5 could bring even more AI via a new launcher shortcut

Samsung is currently rolling out the stable One UI 8 version, but simultaneously, with the courtesy of various leaks and rumors circulating online, the company is already busy with testing its upcoming major OS upgrade, One UI 8.5. Now, a new leak pinpoints integration of AI, but in a different manner.
In case you missed it! Samsung appears to be looking towards bringing some fresh iOS-inspired changes with One UI 8.5; another report (from Android Authority) apparently suggests that even more AI is on the way to the Galaxy ecosystem via a new launcher shortcut.
Basically, the source has spotted a newer One UI 8.5 build, where a string code reveals an all-new launcher app that is infused with some unknown AI agents. However, the details regarding these AI elements are still a mystery, but the string codes prove their existence, and it’s perhaps possible that the Galaxy audience will be able to ask certain questions and can even get answers just like a conversation.
Well, the leaked string codes make it appear like the users will be supposed to choose from three different AI models, including Gemini AI, Perplexity, and even Samsung’s own suite that is powered by Galaxy AI features. At the same time, specifically, the leaked code further suggests that the AI will focus on providing concise answers to the questions in not more than 3 sentences that satisfy the user’s intent.
However, it’s important to note that the above leaked AI feature is currently under development, and there is a certain possibility that Samsung could change it before releasing it to all the users. Since this new launcher app that is powered by AI features is optional, users will have options to choose from their desired AI models.
