Disappointing Charging Speeds Surface for Galaxy Z Fold 7 & Flip 7

Samsung’s upcoming foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are currently in the headlines, with numerous leaks and rumours already started circulating all over. A few weeks back, the Z Fold 7 units’ CAD render was seen online; meanwhile, the 7th gen foldable has just surfaced on China’s website, revealing a key specification.

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 units have successfully appeared on China’s 3C regulatory website and were seen carrying the SM-F9660 and SM-F7660 model numbers, respectively.

However, the listings revealed a key specification that the Galaxy foldable fan might not like! The certifications suggested that both folding smartphones will feature the minimum 25W wired charging capacity that is topped up with 9V 2.77A power. Alternatively, other than that, the listing doesn’t reveal anything much about the details of Samsung’s upcoming foldables.

While the details recovered by the recent listings are so scarce, the previous leaks suggest that the next-gen Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 have a display upgrade, featuring a highly efficient display.

Beyond this, a recent leak asserted that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could skip Exynos 2500, while the other unit, Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumoured to be powered with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset used in the latest S25 series devices.

Moreover, it seems like Samsung could face tough competition from its greatest rival Apple in the foldable segment next year, while it is hoped that the company could take some decisive and tactical moves in order to remain at the top spot in the foldable industry.
