Published

on

Samsung has always shown consistency when it comes to updating its entire Galaxy ecosystem with the latest software. Meanwhile, not so surprisingly, the brand has just upgraded its Galaxy smartwatches to the latest One UI 6 Watch update, which is powered by Wear OS 5, out of the box, and considering that the selected Galaxy Wearables have started receiving the newest build, which is in its beta phase, though.

At this point, Samsung’s new One UI 6 Watch update for its wearables carries some noticeable yet significant features, including Health-related upgrades that integrate the power of AI for the first time beyond its Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Samsung has also focused on specific enhancements within the functionalities of its One UI 6 Watch-eligible smartwatches.

One UI 6 Watch Beta Eligible Countries

The launch of the new One UI 6 Watch update, which is running in its beta phase, is now available for the selected Galaxy Wearables, allowing them to test some of the most significant features and enhancements ahead of the stable release. The latest One UI 6 Watch beta program has started rolling out to the selected Samsung Galaxy smartwatches. Hence, it’s natural that people might be wondering whether their region or country is eligible to receive this new update.

The new One UI 6 Watch beta update is only available in the US and South Korea

Samsung’s One UI beta programs are limited to a few countries for its smartphones and tablets, while this case is even more restricted for its Galaxy Wearables. Also, Samsung’s approach towards making the new One UI 6 Watch update available to more limited countries. The brand has officially stated that the fresh One UI 6 Watch beta update will only be available for the selected Galaxy Watch users in the US and South Korea.

However, these were the same countries where Samsung launched the previous One UI Watch 5 beta. Meanwhile, it does not appear that Samsung could expand this new beta update to more countries, though you never know; it could be possible as well. In addition, the next upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 series will come pre-installed with the One UI 6 Watch version out of the box.

Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung is setting up to expand its wearable smartwatch family by introducing a next-gen watch named the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The new renders are eyeing the upcoming Galaxy smartwatch and unveiling more about the watch.

Galaxy Watch Ultra’s Latest Renders

The render images of the forthcoming Galaxy Watch have already been leaked. To increase the enthusiasm among fans, new renders are blowing into the market. This time, the giant designed the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra with a decent design and gave it a modern look. It seems that the brand has managed to give the watch a squarish look while maintaining the beloved circular design language of the Galaxy Watch series.

The new render images hint that the watch will arrive in two color variants: silver and black. This time, a new button joined the house of two previous buttons placed on the side of the watch. The new button appears in an orange color, similar to the Apple Watch Ultras.

The screen size of the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra appears to be the same as that of its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The dimensional measurement of the current Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is 46.5 x 46.5 x 10.9 mm, whereas the Watch Ultra measures 47 x 47.4 x 16.4 mm. Noticeably, the Watch Ulta is a bit thicker. Apart from this, the brand will offer a titanium case for this anticipated watch.

Samsung will launch this watch at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10th. Apart from the watch, the brand will also introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring

Finally, the wait ends here! Samsung introduced the first Fan Edition wearable Galaxy smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch FE. It empowers even more users with Samsung’s advanced health monitoring technology.

Samsung Electronics announced the release of the Galaxy Watch FE. Despite being a fan edition, it features the same advanced health and fitness features as the Galaxy Watch, along with a stylish and durable design.

Galaxy Watch FE: Specs and Features

Samsung’s latest Galaxy Watch FE features a 1.2-inch OLED display with slightly larger bezels than the rest of the Galaxy wearables. Its display is covered with sapphire crystal glass, which appears to be more scratch-resistant than the glass used in the Watch 4. The latest Galaxy Watch FE counts 40mm measurements and arrives in three color options: black, pink gold, and silver. It features new watch bands with unique stitching and various watch faces for users to personalize their smartwatch.

The Galaxy Watch FE is powered by an Exynos W920 chipset coupled with a gig and a half of RAM and a similar 1.2-inch 396p OLED display. The battery package includes a 247-mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch FE has the power to track all the health metrics of other Galaxy watches. It logs steps, sleep, and heart rate and delivers alerts for abnormally high or low heart rates. It can take ECG and blood pressure measurements in regions where the Korean giant got approval. It can track over 100 different types of exercise and offer a running analysis that evaluates your form and offers recommendations on how to improve.

The Galaxy Watch FE is slightly cheaper than the other Galaxy smartwatches priced at $200 than the recent latest Watch 6, which costs $299.
