The South Korean tech manufacturer Samsung holds one of the best User Interfaces in the tech world. Its customized skin One UI is better not only regarding the features but in the league of updates also. Not long before the first rollout of the most recent version of it, One UI 5.0, the company has already started working on the upcoming One UI 5.1 without any delay. Now let’s take a brief look at this upcoming version and find out when it will be introduced to the market by the company.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series high quality renders leaked ahead of official launch

As per the reports, the manufacturer is giving a final touch to this One UI 5.1 update. It is expected that this upcoming One UI version will get even more refinements than the most-recent One UI 5.0. It is assumed that One UI 5.1 will run on the upcoming flagship Galaxy S23 out of the box, and the internal testing of One UI 5.1 is currently underway for the devices of this series. Notably, this One UI 5.1 will be the descendent of One UI 5.0 and will bring the remaining features of One UI 5, which didn’t come with One UI 5.0.

Which features One UI 5.1 will bring with it?

Let us tell you that One UI 5.1 will be more customizable than One UI 5.0. It will come with touchable UX/UI elements, plenty of lock screen customization features, and an enhanced multitasking feature (only for the devices launched with One UI 4.1.1). Apart from this, all the features that the manufacturer was stated to bring with the One UI 5, but after the One UI 5.0’s rollout, those features still have not appeared in your device; all such features will come with this One UI 5.1’s update.

When will the One UI 5.1 start to roll out?

It’s not been much time since One UI 5.0’s rollout, and the preparations for the upcoming one (One UI 5.1) have been started by the company. As we all get to know by the renders that its development is completed and the internal testing is also started, it is obvious that the manufacturer will not take much time for its rollout.

Like the Galaxy S23 series, the Unpacked event is where the One UI 5.1 will also debut. Notably, it will be launched with the Galaxy S23 series itself. For those who are unaware, the One UI 5.1 is based on Android 13 and is being introduced as the successor to the most-latest One UI 5.0. This update will also have similar customization properties as its predecessor but improved. You can find additional information related to it here.

Which Galaxy devices will first get the One UI 5.1 update?

There is a wide lineup of Galaxy devices that are lined up to get the respective One UI 5.1 update; it is hard to expect which one will be the earlier to get. Obviously, the update program of the One UI 5.1 will be the same as the Android 13+One UI 5.0 update because we are expecting Samsung to follow the same pattern this time. It means that the devices that got the previous OS update earlier will get this too earlier, and that was later will be later this time as well.

Still, one thing is clear the devices that are being spotted with One UI 5.1’s testing will be the frontiers of getting it. In that manner, after the Galaxy S23 series, with which the update will be officially introduced, the Galaxy S22 series will be the first one to touch it because it was the soonest to touch its initial testing. Afterward, we expect these below-mentioned devices by looking at the order of their tests. After the Galaxy S22, these Galaxy devices will get the One UI 5.1in the same order given here-

Know for which devices; One UI 5.1 will be rolled out?

We have heard till now that the One UI 5.1 will be rolled out with Galaxy S23 series devices first, but there is no information regarding its availability on other devices. It is expected that the devices that have got the One UI 5.0 update will get the One UI 5.1 update too. Galaxy S20 FE

Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for the new One UI 6 beta updates for their devices, but Samsung is delaying it; amid this, the company has started distributing its new update for the Galaxy devices. Currently, the Galaxy S20FE devices are receiving the update in the form August 2023 security patch.

The latest security patch doesn’t bring any innovation to the device, but it brings some minor increment for the improvements of the security of the devices. At the moment, Samsung still needs to publish a detailed bulletin of the update, so we can’t say exactly how many fixes were made in this update.

The August security patch is now rolling out in some countries, including Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Trinidad & Tobago. All the Galaxy S20FE users who belong to the mentioned countries will get the update through OTA.

The new update for Galaxy S20FE is now live in the countries mentioned above, but due to the limitation of the server, it will be distributed to users batch-wise, which means some users will get it on the same day of release while others will get it in the next few days.

Users who own S20FE should get the notification on their devices shortly; once the notification arrives, you can easily update your device by tapping it and installing it through the software update menu. Alternatively, users can check the update availability manually by going to the software update option by the device’s main Settings.
