T-Mobile serves March 2023 update for Galaxy S22, Fold 4, and Flip 4 in the US

Samsung is one of the dominant players in the Android market; the company has a large number of devices that are available in different categories, from low-end to high-end devices, where the A/M/F series devices are listed under affordable to premium range devices, while the Z and S series devices come under flagship devices the main difference between them is the screen where Z series devices are known for foldable screen and S series devices having a flat screen.

As the company is treating them as its flagship devices, most of the time, it delivers new updates at the same time for both of the devices. These devices have already received the One UI 5.1 update in several countries.

At present, Samsung is rolling out the new update for Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy S22 series devices in the US. The update comes with March 2023 security patch, which fixes several fixes for different vulnerabilities reported by users.  

The latest update can be identified by the version numbers :

As per the information, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is spotted getting a June 2024 security patch update in Guatemala with the firmware version number F731BXXS2CXEA. With the latest update, you will get some new features that will improve the overall performance of the devices. The update is expected to be available to more units in the coming days.

The June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy device will provide nearly 60 fixes, and Google has addressed 37 security vulnerabilities in the Android ecosystem. Meanwhile, Samsung has also brought 22 more patches that will improve the security of the Galaxy devices.

Samsung is gradually expanding the June 2024 security patch update to more devices. Now, in the latest development, the company has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 devices in the US.

According to the information, the update is spotted on the locked variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 device with the firmware version number F936USQS5FXF1. The update is spotted on the MetroPCS network and is expected to be available in more Carina in the next few days.

The June 2024 security patch update doesn’t bring any new features. Still, it will provide some new changes to the different existing functions, which aim to enhance the overall security of the devices. 

For your information, the June 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 device will bring nearly 60 fixes, improving the devices’ internal functioning and overall security. In detail, 37 patches were included by Google, and 22 patches were added by Samsung exclusively for its Galaxy devices.

Samsung One UI Home gets updated with June 2024 security patch

Samsung has already started introducing the June 2024 security patch update for the eligible devices; as of writing, the update is available for the flagship devices, including Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 devices; with this update, the company hasn’t reached specific changes for the devices. However, a tipster has noticed that One UI Home has been updated to a new version.

For your information, earlier, the One UI Home was running with version 15.1.01.3, but after the update, it was updated to version 15.1.03.41. This indicates that users will get some visible changes to the home screen functionality that enhance the overall experience of the device interface.

As the new update for One UI Home comes with the June 2024 patch, you don’t have to do anything manually as usual. When you update your device to the latest version, it will push a new update and update the device to the latest version, automatically updating the One UI Home.

If you want to check whether a new update is available for your device, you can do that by following simple steps: On the Home screen, perform the pinch-out gesture, tap on the setting icon, and tap on the About Home screen.
