Samsung could launch Galaxy S24 with an Exynos processor in some regions

Samsung always launches two variants for its Galaxy S series, one with Snapdragon SoC and one with its own Exynos SoC. However, with the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung abandoned the Exynos-based flagship due to its problematic nature with the previous flagship. Now, with the next Galaxy S24 series, Samsung seems to revive Exynos-based flagship variants one more time. So, let’s take a brief look at this complete report.

Let us tell you, for the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung launched some Exynos-based model, which has the Exynos 2200 SoC in them. However, the variant didn’t perform well and created a lot of issues in the devices, which made the users frustrated. By looking at those circumstances, Samsung has decided not to launch any Exynos-featured model for its latest Galaxy S23 series; hence, we got only Snapdragon-based Galaxy S23 models.

Recently, we have got a clue that the upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S24 series will have some Exynos-featured variants. As per the report of MySmartPrice, some region-specific variants of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series devices will have Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset in them. The chipset will have a 10-core CPU with four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores, 3x Cortex-A720 silver cores, two Cortex-A720 gold cores, and one Prime X4 core.

However, it doesn’t mean that the Snapdragon chipset will be abandoned; instead, the Exynos variants will be limited to a few regions only, as they used to be before. If that happens, we are hoping for a better experience than the Exynos-based Galaxy S22 devices. Besides the chipset, previously, the future Galaxy S24 series’ RAM and Storage information has also been tipped. If you want, you can check them out here
