Samsung rolls out Galaxy S21 July 2023 Security update in Asia & Europe

The One UI update for July is gaining momentum as it rolls out to various high- and mid-range devices. Now, it’s the turn of the Galaxy S21 units in Asia and Europe to receive the July 23 security patch. However, the update has already made its way to South American countries.
This security patch corresponds to different firmware version numbers depending on the Galaxy S21 model. The base model has the firmware version G991BXXS9EWF3, the Plus model has the firmware version G996BXXS9EWF3, and the Ultra model has the firmware version G998BXXS9EWF3. In all three cases, the update is approximately 300 MB in size.
The update has become available in Asia, starting with India, as well as in several European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Greece, the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands.
The Andriod July 2023 security patch does not bring great news but is intended to improve the stability of the device, performance, and, above all, to solve 90 security flaws of One UI, 58 from Google and 38 from Samsung itself.
