Samsung updates Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 to August 2023 patch in Latin America

The first half of August has already been over, and this time Samsung is late in distributing the security patch to its Galaxy devices. But even though this company is ahead of its competitors, to continue the new update rollout session, the company is now serving the update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Notably, the new update brings the August 2023 patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in Latin American countries. It is worth noticing that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were spotted getting the update in three countries, including Chile, Guatemala, and Panama. It will be identified by the firmware version numbers F936BXXS4CWG6 and F721BXXS4CWG8, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 was spotted getting the update in Colombia with a different version number, F721BXXS4CWG9. The latest update brings 85 security vulnerability fixes for the issues found on the devices. As the update only cares about the new patch, it will not bring any new features to your device. It is also worth noticing that these devices have already received the same update in the US.

Moreover, the update may improve some functions of the devices that will enhance performance and stability, so if you want to get a smooth experience with your device, you should update it to the latest version.

Currently, the update is live in the above-mentioned countries and is expected to be available in more Latin American countries, so to check and install the latest update on your Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4 devices, you can go to the software update option via system settings.
