The Korean brand ‘Samsung’ has been constantly providing August 2023 security updates to its devices since the beginning of this month. Fortunately, now it has chosen the Galaxy S22 family from a bundle of its Galaxy devices for this latest security patch. The brand has rolled out the update for both locked and unlocked variants in the US.

The update for a locked variant of the Galaxy S22 series has arrived with its identification build number, S90xUSQU3CWGI version, for a few locked carriers, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and Dish Wireless.

Alongside the unlocked variant, this new security patch holds up its unique firmware code, which appears as the S90xU1UEU3CWGI version. The update is roaming in the US.

The August 2023 security update improves the system’s security, which leads to better safety and privacy options and enhances the user’s secure experience. Per the brand’s official documentation, the update carries over 80 security vulnerability fixes. It also improves the stability and reliability of the device for better performance and behavior.

However, it doesn’t bring any kind of new features or changes for the betterment of the device’s performance. But since all the bugs and issues also get fixed with this update that were spotted in the previous version and were creating a kind of inconvenience to the users while performing the system’s functionality, it might lead to the performance of a better and more fluent system that gives the users a seamless experience.
