Samsung One UI 6 Makes it Easier to Cast to Chromecast

One UI 6.0, the next feature for Samsung’s smartphones and tablets, will be unveiled alongside a significant Android upgrade. A new version of the One UI software is always released together with a substantial upgrade to Android. With the newer update, casting multimedia to Chromecast or Google Cast-capable devices is now simple on Galaxy smartphones through Samsung’s Smart View feature running One UI 6. A week before, the One UI 6 beta program was made available for the users of the Galaxy S23 series in Germany, America, and South Korea, and the Galaxy S22 series may soon receive the beta update.
With Samsung Smart View, media from any of your devices, including pictures, videos, and even music, can be shared directly to your TV. Every connected device in your house, including your smartphone, PC, and tablets, may be used with Samsung Smart View. It’s simple to screen mirror material from your Samsung tablet or phone to a bigger display with Smart View. Smart View options are included in the settings menu on the majority of new Samsung mobile devices.
This is a significant feature because the process of screen mirroring has become easier in One UI 6.0.

Earlier, it was available as a hidden option; to activate the experimental support for Google Cast devices, you had to enter a secret settings menu that was guarded by obstacles. This has now become easier by navigating to Settings > Connected Devices > Smart View, tapping the three-symbol icon, and then opening Settings > Labs, where the new setting for Chromecast support can be enabled and all Chromecast/Google Cast compatible audio-video devices on the network are available.
