Samsung expands the One UI 5.1.1 update on Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 in more countries
Samsung launched the latest generation of foldable devices in the recent Galaxy Unpacked event. The new foldable company has introduced the latest One UI skin upgrade, One UI 5.1.1. A few days ago, Samsung announced the One UI 5.1.1 update for older eligible devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The company has already rolled out the update to devices in different regions and is now expanding it to new regions.
Notably, One UI 5.1.1 is now available for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in two more countries, including India and South Korea. Users who own the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in South Korea can identify the update by the firmware version numbers F936NKSU2DWH5 and F721NKSU2DWH5.
Meanwhile, the India units of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are getting the update with firmware version numbers F936BXXU4DWH5 and F721BXXU4DWH5, respectively. Both smartphones are receiving a fresh version of One UI, which will give some major enhancements to the system’s existing apps.

It is also worth noticing that the update also brings a new security patch update in the form of an August 2023 update. The latest patch fixes over 85 security vulnerabilities and brings enhancements to the system’s security.
The SamsungSamsung Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 were launched in 2022. These devices come with Android 12 preinstalled. Later, these devices received several updates, but from those, they have only received one major update. However, Samsung has promised to give at least three more major updates to the devices, so the next update is coming as Android 14 and will continue to give updates up to Android 16.
