Galaxy S20 FE gets several new feature with One UI 5.1.1 in the US
After introducing the One UI 5.1.1 to several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and some mid-range devices, including the Galaxy A54, now Verizon is expanding the update to the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, but for this device, the company has brought some new features.
Samsung pushed some new One UI 5.1.1 enhancements for Verizon Galaxy S20 FE
With the One UI 5.1.1 update Samsung has added some new features to several stock apps, including Quick Share, Samsung Health, Device Care, and Mobile Hotspot. Let’s explore them all.
Gallery: Now Galaxy S20 FE users can easily copy the effects from one photo and paste them into another. In the remastered picture, the update added a focus view to highlight individuals, as well as some new date and time styles for watermarks.
Quick share: There are two new features added to enhance file sharing. The first is private sharing: users are now able to set limits and prevent recipients from resharing files. In the second one, users will be able to easily share files with a dedicated share-to-contacts menu.
Device care: In the device care menu, Samsung has introduced two options for memory management. One is an option to clear cache, and the other is a memory-resident app option for managing processes.
Mobile Hotspot: Now you will get a dashboard for mobile data usage. You can now easily set data limits and time limits for managing hotspots. One-time password functionality to provide temporary access to hotspots.
Samsung Health: When paired with the Galaxy Watch, Samsung Health now provides upgraded sleep management, including sleep score factors, sleep consistency, and sleep animal symbols. You can also access sleep coaching from your Galaxy Watch to track your progress and stay motivated throughout the day.
It is now available for the locked variant of the Galaxy S20 FE 5G, which is affiliated with the Verizon network. Users can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number, G781VSQUAHWH5. It is worth noticing that the new update is still using the August 203 update.
