The Samsung Tab Active 3 is a rugged series tablet, specially designed to be usable in tough weather conditions. The device came on the market in 2020 with Android 10 preinstalled. Later, the device grabbed three more major updates, and currently, it is running on Android 13. As Samsung also provides some UI updates, the device is now getting one more significant update in the form of One UI 5.1.1.
OneUI 5.1.1 brings new improvements and features
One UI 5.1.1 is the latest UI update, which is an upgrade of the skin based on Android 13. Samsung has specially designed the update for large-screen devices. With this update, Samsung has brought several new enhancements to its functions, including the taskbar, Flex Mode, Quick Share, Samsung Health, Camera, Gallery, and many more.
Apart from these, there are some more new features that are now available, such as drag and drop with both hands. This feature helps to move files from one folder to another, and now you can customize Samsung’s internet layout according to your taste and more.
Moreover, the latest update will enhance the user experience of using several functions. It is also worth noticing that you will get an August 2023 security patch, which will enhance the overall security of the devices.
Currently, the One UI 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Tab Active 3 is rolling out in Europe with firmware version number T575XXU6EWH4 and 1.3GB of software. It is expected that the update will soon expand to more regions. Users can easily check the update from the software update menu via system settings.
