Samsung has already released the November 2023 security patch for most of its Galaxy devices. However, since there are numerous devices available in different lineups, some eligible devices have yet to receive the update. One such device is the Galaxy XCover6 Pro, which has now started receiving the latest update.

The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is one of the rugged series devices that was introduced back in 2022. It came with Android 12 preinstalled and later acquired Android 13. As it is eligible to get up to three major software updates, it will soon get Android 14 and also get one more Android support in the future. Along with major updates, the device will also receive minor software updates as security patches.

It doesn’t give any new features, but it comes with a fresh set of new fixes for known bugs. It is worth noticing that the patches included by Google are available on all Android devices, but the ones included by Samsung will be available on only Galaxy devices.

The update is currently rolling out in the US for both locked and unlocked variants of devices. Users who own Galaxy XCover 6 Pro’s any variant can easily identify the latest update by these firmware version numbers: G736U1UES5CWK1 (for unlocked) and G736USQS7CWK1 (for locked, spotted on MetroPCS). If you are using the device in the US, then you can easily install the latest update from the main system settings of the device.
