Google has rapidly shifted towards the second quarterly update for Pixel devices; this time, the company didn’t bring the traditional three beta updates in the first QPR and quickly released QPR 2 Beta 1 immediately. In the earlier update, the company addressed a lot of bug fixes and improved the functioning of the devices.

Now, with the latest Android 14 QPR2 beta 1.1, it has again brought some bug fixes; however, this time the company doesn’t release major updates, but it has addressed some known bugs that were found in the last software.

Google removed a feature from Android 14

According to the changelog, the latest update will fix two issues. One is that it caused some apps to be removed after a system update was installed and also stopped them from being installed again. Along with this, the update will also bring further improvements to the software and enhance its performance.

For more clarification, the latest update is available for all the Pixel devices, starting with the Pixel 5a and going forward, including the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet. For the Pixel 5a, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro, the latest update is coming with version number AP11.231020.016. For other devices, the same update is coming with the version number AP11.231020.016.A1. The latest update is still using the same security patch level in the form of November 2023.

It is worth noticing that the update is only available for Pixel users who have enrolled their devices in the beta program. If you haven’t done it yet, you can still do it by following the simple steps described on the official page. For more information, you can check the official changelog below.
