The Galaxy Watch 3 is one of the older smartwatches in the Galaxy lineup. It was launched back in 2020. It was launched on Samsung’s own designed Tizen OS 5.5. Later, it received some significant updates for two years, but then it is no longer eligible to get any new major updates, but Samsung is still offering some new changes for the watches even after nearly four years.

Verizon Galaxy Watch 3 receives Prepetual and Stretched Time Watchfaces with the latest update

Last year, Samsung introduced the major software update, One UI 5 watch, to its eligible smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatches. In the update, the company has introduced several new features and improvements for the watch, which also include some new watch faces. Now the company has chosen two watch faces, including perpetual and stretched time, to give to the Watch 3 users.

Earlier, Samsung had already distributed the update for the Galaxy Watch 3 (Bluetooth) in different countries, but now, as per the latest development, the update is available for the LTE variant as well. It was spotted in the US for the Verizon-locked watches and is carrying the firmware version number R8*5USQU1DWK2.

If you are also using the LTE version of the Galaxy Watch 3, you can get the update by following these simple steps: Just open the Samsung wearable app on the connected smartphone, then go to watch settings, tap on the watch software update, and tap Download and Install.
