Samsung brings January 2024 Security update for Galaxy S22/S22+/S22 Ultra

Samsung is starting to roll out the January 2024 security patch for the Galaxy S22 devices. This is the initial rollout for the devices, which is taking place in North American countries, so it may take a couple of days to reach all the units there. At the same time, it will also be expanded to more countries in the coming days.
The latest update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with the firmware version numbers S901EXXS7DWL8, S906EXXS7DWL8, and S908EXXS7DWL8 respectively. Don’t be excited, as it will not bring any new features or innovations for the devices.
January 2024 comes with a plethora of security vulnerability fixes that will improve the overall security of the devices. According to the official documentation, there are 80 fixes introduced, of which 75 are given by Google and provide fixes to the issues found in Android devices, while the other 5 are added by Samsung and exclusively enhance the functioning of the Galaxy devices.
Moreover, the update is aimed at providing security strengthening to the devices, and at the same time, it may also provide some new improvements to the existing functions as well as more stability for the devices.
