The latest update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is coming with the firmware version numbers N981U1UES6HWL5 and N986U1UES6HWL5, respectively. The latest update doesn’t bring any new innovation for the device, but it will improve the overall security of the devices.
According to the official SMR, the January 2024 security update comes with a plethora of fixes with the help of new patches added from Google that address the issues identified in the Android OS, as well as five more patches added by Samsung for exclusive fixes of the bugs found in the Galaxy devices.
Users who are using the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra can easily install the latest update from the software update menu in the system settings. The update will gradually be available for all unlocked units, so you have to wait some time to get it.
