Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S22 series, and it is not a regular security or any major update, but it brings some improvements for the functioning of the camera. The devices’ latest update has been spotted in the European regions.

Users who own the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S901BXXU7DXA6, S906BXXU7DXA6, and S908BXXU7DXA6, respectively. With the latest update, the company has attached a changelog that only says “Improved performance—Camera.” This indicates that the update only brings some new improvements limited to the camera.

As of writing the article, we didn’t have any specific information about the changes made under the camera through this update, but if you own any of the Galaxy S22 series devices, then you should update the device to the latest version. The update has been spotted in several European countries.

If you are also using the Galaxy S22 series device in the abovementioned regions, then you should start getting new update notifications, but if you haven’t received the update yet, then you have to wait some more time. Alternatively, you can also check the update manually by going to the software update menu through the main system settings.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series of devices back in 2022. The devices come with Android 12 preinstalled, and later it has already received two major updates, including Android 13 and Android 14. At the time of launch, Samsung listed the devices under the category of four years of major software availability, so the device will get two more major updates in the future.
