Samsung has already introduced the One UI 6.1 update, but it is limited to the Galaxy S24 devices. As it is a featureful update, all the eligible Galaxy device users are eagerly waiting for it, but before expanding the UI update, the company is making available the February security patch. The Galaxy S21, the latest device, is now getting a fresh security patch update.
Notably, the Galaxy S21 is getting a new update in the European region; more specifically, it was spotted in Switzerland. The company will expand the update to more regions in the next few days.
The February 2024 security patch is one of the standard maintenance updates, which includes some internal fixes for the devices that enhance the overall performance of the devices and make them more stable. However, the main aim of the new update is to strengthen the security.
According to the information, the latest update for the Galaxy S21 brings more than 60 fixes; 61 fixes provide the solution for the vulnerabilities found in the Android OS. There are eight more fixes added by Samsung that improve the overall functioning of the devices.
If you are using the Galaxy S21 devices in the European region, then you should start receiving the update notification on your device. In case you haven’t received the update yet, you can also manually check the update by going to the software update menu via system settings.
