Samsung usually rolls out the latest update to high-end devices, and the same  happened with the March 2024 security patch update, which included the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S20, and many more. But as usual, Samsung hasn’t brought the update for the Galaxy S21 devices on time, but fortunately, now it has started receiving it.

Notably, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra are spotted receiving the March 2024 security patch update in Europe. The devices are receiving the latest update with the firmware version numbers G991BXXS9FXBD, G996BXXS9FXBD, and G998BXXS9FXBD, respectively.

The March 2024 security patch is one of the security maintenance updates that is introduced by Google to every Android device. The main aim of the update is to protect the devices from harmful external threats, and when Google sends the new patch update to different OEMs, they also add some extra improvements.

Just like Samsung has also included nine more fixes for the Galaxy devices exclusively, with these fixes, the Korean giant has brought several new fixes for the devices that have addressed several sensitive security vulnerabilities.

Along with this, the security patch update may also bring some more improvements for some functions. If you are having any issues while using any feature, you should immediately update it to the latest version.

If you are using the Galaxy S21 devices in Europe, then you can now easily update your device to the latest update by going to the software update menu through the system main settings. If you haven’t received the update yet, then the only option left is to wait for some time.
