Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and A13 join the October 2024 security update

Samsung is now on track to roll out the new October 2024 security update in several eligible regions, beginning with the European market, followed by the US. Meanwhile, the company is now dealing with the Galaxy A series models, including the Galaxy A55 5G and A13 4G, as the phones are receiving the October 2024 patch in Asia. 

The October 2024 security update rollout has already begun, and now the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A13 4G are getting the update in a few Asian countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the new update for the Galaxy A55 5G and A13 4G has A556EXXS5AXI4 and A135FXXS9EXI2 firmware versions. 

As detailed, the latest October 2024 security update significantly resolves the older and unfinished security-related bugs and flaws that are eventually affecting Galaxy devices’s security. There are plenty of key improvements to the device’s overall security in order to offer a more safe and secure environment while also keeping the phone safe from external threats. 

Accompanied by various security fixes, the update further brings some relevant enhancements to the device’s functionality, optimizes system performance, delivers improved features, and adds stability to the device’s behavior, all while ensuring a stable, smooth, and optimized software performance for the users.

Moreover, Samsung is currently rolling out the aforementioned update in the Asian region, while it will follow the other eligible regions soon.
