Samsung is gradually covering several eligible markets in providing the October 2024 security update for its Galaxy phones and tablets. Now, the company has begun rolling out the security patch for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 in the Canadian market.
With the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 already enjoying the October 2024 security update, Samsung has started distributing the patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 5/Flip5 and Galaxy S24 series in Canada.
The October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra comes with the S921WVLS3AXI1, S926WVLS3AXI1, and S928WVLS3AXI1 firmware versions while carrying an update size of 438.88 MB.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are also getting the same update that can be identified with the F946WVLS4DXI9 and F731WVLS4DXI9 version numbers.
The October security patch packs several key improvements to the device’s security that significantly help to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, resolves certain known issues, applies the latest security patches, and fixes various bugs and other flaws for a much smoother and more secure experience, all while protecting the device from external harms.
