While Samsung is preparing to release the most-awaited One UI 7 version anytime soon, the company is looking forward to pushing the October 2024 security update for its Galaxy devices as soon as possible. Now, Samsung is rolling out the update for the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in Europe.
The October 2024 security patch is now available for the Galaxy S21 Series and Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 in some European countries, and should follow in other regions soon.
Meanwhile, the security patch for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra has the G991BXXSDGX15, G996BXXSDGX15, and G998BXXSDGX15 firmware versions, while also carrying an update size of 300.23 MB.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are also getting the same update, which can be identified with the F926BXXS9IXJ1 and F711BXXSAIXJ1 software versions.
According to the changelog, the October 2024 security update doesn’t bring new features and changes; though, it brings some significant improvements to the device’s security, resolves known issues, fixes all the security-related bugs and other flaws, and applies the latest security patches to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users, all while protecting the device from certain external harms.
Additionally, the update further introduces some other relevant enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, adds performance optimizations, brings stability to the device’s behavior, and delivers much improved features that in turn offer a more smooth, stable, secure, and optimized software experience to the users.
