Samsung is soon going to wrap up things, as it’s almost done with the rollout of the October 2024 security update for eligible Galaxy phones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are receiving the update in Europe.
The October 2024 security patch is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 and can be identified with the F936BXXS8GXIC and F721BXXS8GXIC firmware versions.
Although the new update is merely a minor security patch that significantly fixes a lot of security-related vulnerabilities, it doesn’t pack any new features or major improvements.
Nevertheless, the October security update brings several key improvements to the device’s overall security, resolves certain issues and flaws, and applies the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure environment, all while keeping their device protected from external harms.
In addition, the update further adds some more relevant enhancements to the device’s overall functionality, adds performance optimizations, brings stability to the system behavior, improves security, and delivers much improved features, which allow users to have a more stable, smooth, and much optimized software experience.
