Samsung Health Update Rolls Out with New Health Records Feature [6.28.1.005]

Samsung is always engaged in making more powerful health routines for its Galaxy audience via its much more seamless connected ecosystem, from the fragmented health data channels to merging them into a comprehensive platform, the Samsung Health app.
Now, the company is rolling out a new update to the Health application, which brings several interesting features.
A couple of days ago, Samsung announced the bringing of some new features to the Samsung Health app that are primarily focused on offering the expansion of health and wellness capabilities that started rolling out via a new update.
With the latest Samsung Health app update carrying the v6.28.1.005 version, the Samsung Health app will now allow Galaxy users to scan whatever food they eat via a barcode. This will help them to have an effective and effortless food intake tracking, while one can even get some necessary nutrient information automatically within the app when scanning the food. However, the barcode feature is limited to certain countries.
Alternatively, a personal health record feature has been newly added, aiming to offer users some meaningful insights and alerts regarding suggestions related to their next step and much more. Plus, the medication feature of the Samsung Health app has now become more advanced and is now expanded to more countries, including Korea and India other than the US.
Apart from introducing the above-mentioned features and changes, the newer update to Samsung Health further focuses on fixing several bugs and applying certain improvements to the applications in order to offer comprehensive health management features and a much impactful experience via the integration of AI innovations.
Lastly, Samsung has started rolling out the Samsung Health app update in eligible regions that is now available to download via both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.
