Samsung expands October 2024 security update for Galaxy Tab S8 series to more countries
The October month is about to end, while Samsung is now expanding the October 2024 security update to the leftover models to other eligible regions. Thus, the Galaxy Tab S8 series is getting the security patch in more countries, including Canada, Asia, and South Korea.
While Samsung is rolling out the October 2024 security update for the Wi-Fi units of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, including the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the patch can be identified with the X700XXS8CXJ7, X800XXS8CXJ7, and X900XXS8CXJ7 firmware versions.
The new security patch roughly measures 345 MB. While being a minor security and bug fixing patch, it brings a lot of security-related improvements to the device security, solves certain known issues, and delivers fixes for all the security vulnerabilities while also applying the latest security patches in order to offer a more safe and secure environment to the users.
Additionally, the update further introduces plenty of key enhancements for the device functionality, brings stability to the system behavior, adds optimizations to the device performance, and delivers much improved features that will significantly help users to have a more optimized, stable, secure, and smooth software experience.
