While the most-awaited One UI iteration, the One UI 7 beta, seems to be around the corner, Samsung is looking to wrap up the on-going October 2024 security patch rollout for its Galaxy phones and tablets. In this series, the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 FE are receiving the security update in Europe.
The October 2024 security update has been released for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series in some European countries; meanwhile, the security patch for the 5G variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra has the X716BXXS4BXJ7, X816BXXS4BXJ7, and X916BXXS4BXJ7 firmware versions with an update size of around 385 MB.
Meanwhile, the X510XXS6BXJ1 and X610XXS6BXJ1 version numbers of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ Wi-Fi units are also receiving the same update.
So, the October 2024 security update brought about tons of security and bug-related fixes that significantly help in improving the device’s overall security while also solving several known issues and bugs that will provide a safe and secure experience to the users all while protecting their devices from various threats.
