Samsung rolled out the November 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 owners in the US; it’s interesting to see Samsung consistently delivering the latest security patch to its Galaxy smartphones. Now, the same security update is available for the Galaxy S23 series to more carriers in the US.
While the update should reach the unlocked models and other regions in the next few days, the security patch has currently started rolling out to even more carriers other than Verizon, including T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Comcast, Dish Wireless, and Spectrum Mobile.
The November 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with the S911USQS5CXI8, S916USQS5CXI8, and S918USQS5CXI8 firmware versions. The update doesn’t include any major changes or features; rather, it’s just a security and bug-fixing patch.
Meanwhile, the latest Android Security Bulletin for this month addresses several significant, in total 38, high-risk security-related vulnerabilities for the Galaxy devices; however, there is no critical fix. It eventually helps users to keep their smartphones protected against certain potential harms and threats and offer a safe and secure environment to the users.
In addition, the update further adds various enhancements for the overall functionality of the device, applies the latest security patches, brings stability to the system behavior, adds performance optimizations to the device, and delivers much improved features to provide a smooth, stable, and optimized software experience to the users.
