Samsung’s newest One UI skin, the One UI 7 beta release, seems to be around the corner; the company has consistently started delivering the November 2024 security update to the premium Galaxy phones at the right time. Now, following the Galaxy S24 and S23’s lead, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 have started getting the patch in Europe and South Korea.
The company continues with the distribution of the November security patch as it reaches to Samsung’s 4th-generation fold the Galaxy the Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Z Flip 4, and is now available in Europe and South Korea.
Meanwhile, the new November 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 (European variants) has the F936BXXS9GXJA and F721BXXS9GXJA firmware versions and weighs around 500 MB. Although it’s a security and bug-fixing patch, it packs an essential auto-blocker feature that allows users to have a secure environment.
According to the November 2024 security update changelog, the newest patch contains an Auto Blocker feature that will prevent Galaxy users from connecting USB devices for transferring data to the other phones; expect to use them for charging purposes when the Auto Blocker feature is enabled with the Maximum Restrictions option turned on.
Alternatively, the update further adds several key improvements for the security of the overall device, solves plenty of bugs and other security-related vulnerabilities, applies the latest security patches, brings stability to the system behavior, and adds performance optimizations in order to offer a smooth, stable, and optimized software experience all while protecting the device from external threats.
