The November 2024 security update arrived on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 a day ago, and now, Samsung Galaxy S23 series alongside Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 owners are getting the same update in South Korea.
Samsung’s commitment to support its older generation models can be seen as the company is continuously providing security updates to the models. Meanwhile, the November 2024 security update is rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 units that can be identified with the F926NKSS7JXK5 and F711NKSS7JXK5 firmware versions.
On the opposite side, the Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra units are also receiving the same update that carries the S911NKSU5CXK4, S916NKSU5CXK4, and S918NKSU5CXK4 version numbers.
Although there’s nothing new added within the update, it’s just a minor security and bug fixing update that integrates November patches and addresses fixes for all the security vulnerabilities while also improving the system security to offer a secure experience to the users all while protecting their devices from threats and attacks.
Additionally, in simple terms, the update further adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, brings performance optimizations, improves efficiency, delivers more improved features, and applies the latest security patches to provide a smooth, stable, optimized, and efficient user experience.
While the other eligible regions should follow soon, the Galaxy S23 along with the Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 owners in Korea can now download the latest version on their foldables when available.
