Samsung usually leads in updating its Galaxy devices with the latest security updates; however, it’s taking some extra time to bring One UI 7. In contrast, the November 2024 security update is rolling out in full swing for all the eligible Galaxy phones and tablets. Now, the update is reaching for the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S8 owners in South Korea.
While the other regions should follow soon, apparently the new update for the 5G units of Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra comes out with the X716NKOU5BXK4, X816NKOU5BXK4, and X916NKOU5BXK4 firmware versions.

On the opposite side, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series, including Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra units, are also getting the same update that has been released with the X706NKOU9HXK5, X806NKOU9HXK5, and X906NKOU9HXK5 versions, with an update size of 594.29 MB.
Meanwhile, strengthening the overall system security, the update significantly integrates the November security patch that comes with a lot of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities addressed within the latest update. This will significantly help users to have a more secure experience all while protecting their devices against external threats.
Alternatively, the update also brings various performance optimizations, adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, improves overall system efficiency, delivers much improved features, and applies the latest security patches that eventually lead to a smoother, optimized, efficient, and stable user experience.
