Samsung is to debut its latest Galaxy S25 series early next year at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The ultra variant of the series, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, will be worth buying over the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Here’s why.
The forthcoming Galaxy S25 series will include three variants: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, and all are highly anticipated to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite based on the 3nm process.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is the biggest reason why you should choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra over its predecessor. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 based on a 4nm process, which can’t beat the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite based on a 3nm process. This is the major upgrade the Galaxy S25 Ultra will bring to deliver high-end performance smoothly.
Apart from the chipset, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will also bring a new round-corner design, which will be quite efficient over sharp corners. The device will arrive on the latest software version, Android 15-based One UI 7, out of the box.
