Samsung is all set to launch its forthcoming Galaxy S25 series next year at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22 in San Jose, California. The Galaxy S25 Ultra variant of the series is still expected to have 12GB of RAM instead of the rumored 16GB.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series will include the usual three variants: Base, Plus, and Ultra. The company has yet to release any single official detail regarding the specifications of the Galaxy S25 series, but leaks and rumors are already blowing in the market.

According to recent leaks, the base model of the upcoming Galaxy S25 will feature a significant upgrade, with 256GB of internal storage paired with 12GB of RAM. This marks an improvement over last year’s Galaxy S24, which started with 128GB of storage.

Previously, it was reported that Samsung could offer an upgrade in the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s storage by offering 16GB of RAM, but now a new report suggests that all three variants of the series will have up to 12GB of RAM.

A tipster, Abhishek Yadav, on X, shared a post, claiming that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will have three storage variants, which are as follows:

  • 12GB RAM + 256GB
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB
  • 12GB RAM + 1TB

This means that all three variants of the series will have 12GB of RAM. Noticeably, this time Samsung could offer an additional 128GB storage level with a 12GB RAM variant for the base Galaxy S25 model. Usually, the Galaxy S-series base models have 128GB storage capped at 8GB RAM. The entire series is highly anticipated to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite worldwide and run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
