We have already entered the month’s end, and Samsung is rapidly continuing with the December 2024 security update rollout for its Galaxy devices by expanding the patch across the world. Recently, Samsung’s fourth generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, are getting the update in Europe.
Although Samsung has already distributed the December 2024 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the US, now it’s looking forward to expanding it to more eligible regions.
Currently, the Android security update for Samsung’s book-style foldables has been recognized with their detectable build numbers, where the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has the F936BXXS9GXKC, while the Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with the F721BXXS9GXKC firmware versions for European countries.
Simultaneously, the update, however, doesn’t come with any major features or changes; it significantly brings several key improvements to the system security while also addressing a lot of bug fixes and other relevant flaws from the previous version that eventually allows users to have a more secure experience and also protects their device against potential attacks and threats.
Alternatively, the update further brings various performance optimizations, adds stability and reliability to the system behavior, applies the latest security patches, and offers much-improved features that in turn lead to a smooth, bug-free, stable, and optimized user experience, performance, and functionality.
