Samsung Promises 7 Years of Software Updates for These Galaxy Devices

Samsung is rated among the best smartphone manufacturers who are always consistent in delivering the software updates to its Galaxy devices. While the company is focusing on making a unified One UI platform for its entire ecosystem, its smartphones will shine with the support of seven years of software support.
Samsung’s 7-Years Software Update Policy
Right after seeing a significant lead by Google, Samsung has also announced that its Galaxy devices will be promised to hold on to a huge seven years of Android OS updates & Security patches commitment, beginning from the Galaxy S24 lineup.
Samsung has gradually made various changes in its device’s software update policy. It initially began with the Galaxy S21 series, which became the first lineup in the flagship range to feature four major OS updates and five years of security patches; meanwhile, this was gradually expanded to more eligible Galaxy phones within the mid-tier list.
Next up, Samsung precisely stated that beginning from the flagships, the S24 lineup, all the newer and upcoming Galaxy devices will be promised to get seven huge major OS updates and seven years of security patches commitment. This will eventually lead to a safer and more secure experience, without having to worry or look up to the devices for about several upcoming years.
Not only this, Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy A16 is perhaps promised to get six years of software updates, while this is currently the only phone in the A lineup to get such an exciting software update policy.
