Gemini Live to Get Subtitles and AI-Powered Conversation Summaries

Google is looking towards providing an easier method, helping users to summarize their Gemini Live conversations soon. According to the reports (via Android Authority) that claimed that Google is currently working on a way that will force Gemini Live conversations to summarize automatically.

However, as of now, the only alternative to summarizing a Gemini Live conversation is to certainly ask for a summary before ending a conversation, but there’s no direct path that can easily summarize the key points.

Well, some prompts have been spotted in the latest Google app beta version that has a 16.6.23 version number, which says that Google could automatically generate a summary of Gemini Live conversations in the form of a brief yet summarized paragraph. This paragraph substantially has an exclusive title that highlights key points of conversation, a combination of topics and detailed sections, and, lastly, it doesn’t contain any clutter, though.

The report further added that Google is supposed to either add a one-click summarize option or show the proprietary summary of the Gemini Live conversation automatically, but users need to wait until the rollout begins.

Anyways, if this rolls out, then it would be the most efficient alternative for summarization for the Android audience, including Samsung smartphone owners, as Bixby has now been replaced with Gemini within Galaxy devices.

On the other hand, flashed with the same version number listed above, Google could have been working to bring a new button named Caption Preferences (under Gemini settings) that allows users to generate real-time captions for Gemini Live’s responses. The new Google app version is currently in beta phase, while stable rollout still awaits.
