Samsung’s One UI 7 has been the most dramatic update so far, as the fan community has already witnessed a lot of drama before receiving the stable update on their Galaxy devices. The stable rollout began a few days ago; however, this rollout doesn’t seem to be ignoring problems for the Galaxy S24 owners!
The journey for the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 has not been so smooth, from being delayed for months to facing a halt just before the stable release.
One UI 7 Woes Return as Galaxy S24 Users Report Download Failures
However, the problems don’t seem to end here; Galaxy S24 series owners took to Reddit and even the X platform and reported that they have encountered an issue while installing the latest One UI 7 stable update on their devices. The users stated that the download process paused automatically while also displaying the message “Couldn’t install the update.”

At the same time, the users further reported that this is even preventing them from using their phones normally because the error is constantly popping up on their phones’ displays.
Well, reports (1 and 2) from a few users illustrated that by pausing the update’s installation process, rebooting the device, and then resuming the download, the issue was solved, while the others claimed that nothing seemed to happen in the download process even after restarting their phone.
Since this problem is yet to be acknowledged by Samsung, as this issue seems to be arising from the company’s server side, the company needs to take certain actions as soon as possible to provide a smooth One UI 7 stable installation experience to the users.
