Samsung to increase the gap size between displays of the Galaxy Z Fold 7

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is just two months away from its official debut, which is now rumoured to have a noticeable gap between screens.

Samsung will launch the seventh-generation foldable phones, including Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, at the next major Unpacked event in the first week of July 2025. The company is actively working on introducing innovative and more slim foldable phones to maintain its leading legacy in the foldable market.

Now, a tipster, Panda Flash, on X, shared a post, claiming that Samsung is looking forward to extending the gap size between the screens of the Galaxy Z Fold 7. He also mentioned that the reason behind the increasing gap is that the displays need space to fold.

Galaxy Z Fold7 Increased Display

If this report comes true, then the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a larger gap size as compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

However, there’s no official statement regarding this report yet, so it remains to be seen whether Samsung will increase the gap between screens. In recent days, several Galaxy Z Fold 7 leaks surfaced online; for instance, it will feature a new battery and charging technology, it could be the thinnest foldable yet in the Galaxy family, the US model of the device will be powered with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and will run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box.
