One UI 7’s Auto Blocker receiving more security improvements for the Galaxy devices

Samsung’s Auto Blocker is meant to keep Galaxy devices safe by blocking threats and other suspicious activities. Meanwhile, the application is getting a new update that is now available to download via the Galaxy Store.
The post-update for the Auto Blocker app takes it to a new version number, 1.2.02.1; however, the update doesn’t integrate any major features or changes and is a minor update but has a great impact on securing your Galaxy phones from harmful attacks and other unauthorized access.

More specifically, Auto Blocker now integrates the new Maximum Restrictions feature that will eventually restrict a few of the device’s features for more security; however, this feature was already added with the One UI 6.1.1 update, where the feature automatically enables the App Protection feature in order to prevent activation of device admin apps and work profiles that will offer a more secure device experience.
Well, things started to change when Samsung added a few additional capabilities within the Auto Blocker app. Beginning with One UI 7, the Maximum Restriction feature will even block 2G networks and also an automatic reconnection to non-secure Wi-Fi networks.
This eventually allows Galaxy users to have a more secure experience as the Auto Blocker significantly blocks apps from any unauthorized store access, turns on app security checks for additional security scanning, and lastly, blocks commands by USB cable as well.
