Samsung is now rolling out the September 2023 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. The update is currently available for the unlocked variants of these devices. While the locked variants have already got the same update.
US Unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 receive September 2023 Security Update
Notably, the unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are getting the update with firmware version numbers F936U1UES3DWH7 and F721U1UES3DWH7, respectively. The latest update brings more than 60 fixes that enhance the overall performance of the devices. The update was spotted on T-Mobile, but it is expected that it will be available on more carriers in the coming days.

Additionally, the update has been expanded to more carriers, including T-Mobile and MetroPCS. For the locked variant, Samsung has rolled out the update with different firmware version numbers. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is getting the update with firmware version number F936USQS3DWH9, and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is grabbing the update with firmware version number F721USQS3DWH9.
In detail, the latest update is made by the fixes included by Google and Samsung, where the patches included by Google fix the bugs found in the Android OS, while Samsung exclusively resolves the issues that are found in the Galaxy devices.

Along with this, it may also bring some fixes for the issues that appeared in previous software updates.
