Published

on

Samsung has already started introducing the June 2024 security patch update for the eligible devices; as of writing, the update is available for the flagship devices, including Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 devices; with this update, the company hasn’t reached specific changes for the devices. However, a tipster has noticed that One UI Home has been updated to a new version.

For your information, earlier, the One UI Home was running with version 15.1.01.3, but after the update, it was updated to version 15.1.03.41. This indicates that users will get some visible changes to the home screen functionality that enhance the overall experience of the device interface.

As the new update for One UI Home comes with the June 2024 patch, you don’t have to do anything manually as usual. When you update your device to the latest version, it will push a new update and update the device to the latest version, automatically updating the One UI Home.

If you want to check whether a new update is available for your device, you can do that by following simple steps: On the Home screen, perform the pinch-out gesture, tap on the setting icon, and tap on the About Home screen. Alternatively, you can check the update from the Galaxy store app. It is worth noting that the new update for One UI Home has arrived for Galaxy S24 devices, and it is expected to be available to more devices with the update.

Samsung Browser to Get Enhanced Translation Features in Next Update

Published

on

The Samsung Internet browser has many useful features that allow users to surf the internet conveniently. For every type of user, the company has provided many features, such as a secret mode where users can research anything with more privacy. For security, the application provides an anti-tracking system that protects users from visiting harmful websites. However, some basic features, such as translation results, are not up to par.

Samsung Internet browser translation needs to be improved

According to some users who reported issues with translation, the Samsung Internet browser doesn’t give accurate results. Users claim that when you translate time later than 1 hour ago, it gives the same result as years ago. This issue doesn’t sound like a major problem, but for any user who doesn’t know anything about another language, it may misguide them. However, Samsung officially said that it will improve the translation result in the next update, which is appreciable.

According to the official moderator, “Internet Manager,” the issue raised by the user will be improved and a solution provided in the next language pack update. The compiler is already in the process of developing an accurate language pack, and as soon as it is ready, you will be served with upgrades through OTA.

Apart from these, there is some lack of functionality in the browser app that needs to be available to become an ideal application. Here we are talking about the function of importing bookmark files created through bookmarked export from a PC or mobile browser. To take it responsibly, the company has also reacted to this query and assured to bring the functionality into the browser.
