Galaxy S23 FE may be powered by six months old flagship processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

The South Korean tech manufacturer always launches a Fan Edition device for its high-end Galaxy S series. Ever since this year’s Galaxy S23 series was launched, the rumors regarding its to-be-launched Fan Edition device have also started to join the talks. A report about the future Galaxy S23 FE device’s processor has recently arrived. So, let’s take a look at this report.

As per the well-known leak star OreXda, the future Galaxy S23 FE device will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC in it. The reason for using the last-gen chipset in the FE device is to maintain its low price. As the FE devices cost cheaper than their main series, it is the best possible way to provide better quality while keeping the device’s price lower, as last-gen chipsets will be cheaper than the current’s.

Let us inform you Samsung does launch a Fan Edition device for its high-end Galaxy S series, but the previous Galaxy S22 series missed it out, as the Galaxy S22 FE device hasn’t come yet. However, there were some rumors regarding the Galaxy S22 FE to be launched soon with Samsung’s Exynos 2300 SoC, but the news wasn’t confirmed. As the company hasn’t hinted anything about it, we can’t say whether it will come or not.

Let’s get back to the Galaxy S23 FE device; we may receive other rumors about this device in the coming time. Since then, we can just predict what it will bring. As per the prediction of Notebookcheck, the device may get a 120Hz AMOLED Display Panel in it. However, to know the actual characteristics, we should wait till any official confirmation or launch, which will probably happen in Q3 or Q4 of the year 2023.
