Samsung has been continuously rolling out the update to Galaxy devices for a few days; the company has already distributed two of the main Galaxy S series devices, i.e., Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21. Now, the company has rolled out the fan edition device of Galaxy S21.
Unlocked Galaxy S21 FE June 2023 Update In The US
The Galaxy S21 FE is now getting the June 2023 security update in the US; it is worth noticing that the update is available for the unlocked variant of the device; users can easily identify the latest update by the firmware version number G990U1UES7EWE3. It is expected that the locked variant will also get the update in the next few days.
According to official documentation of Samsung, the June 2023 security update brings over 60 fixes for the issues found in the Android OS and Samsung Galaxy devices. It is worth noticing that Samsung has also included some extra fixes for the betterment of devices.

Moreover, the update aims to strengthen the security of the device; apart from this, it may also include some improvement that enhances the overall performance and stability of the devices.
Samsung has already pushed the June 2023 security update for many Galaxy devices, including Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy A53, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy A13. However, the availability of updates is varying carrier to carrier.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S21 FE back in 2022, and the device was launched with Android 12; later, it has received more Android updates in the form of Android 13. The device has also received the latest skin of Samsung in the form of One UI 5.1. Samsung has already promised to give at least four Android updates so it will surely get Android updates upto Android 16.
